Teachers of Isha Hatha Yoga, who completed a rigorous 21-week training programme at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, will instruct soldiers in traditional Hatha Yoga techniques including Surya Kriya and Angamardana. The soldiers will also be taught Isha Kriya, a 12-minute meditation meant to help them deal with the fast-paced nature of modern life, and Nadi Shuddhi, a practise that purifies the nadis, the channels by which pranic energy travels, providing balance and psychological well-being.
